Princess Place Preserve offers picturesque sites for primitive camping. Camp by the water and fish or launch your canoe from your campsite, or camp in the uplands pine woods. Picnic tables and grills are available at most campsites and we can accommodate large groups. Camping is $10 per night and you must have a camping permit.
Permits must be submitted in person to Parks and Recreation, 1769 E. Moody Blvd. Bldg. #5, Bunnell, FL 32110. For more information call (386) 313-4020.
Camping Rules:
- Primitive camping only (tents). Pop-ups and self-contained units are not allowed. Generators are prohibited.
- All vehicles must be parked after sunset. Driving in the park after sunset and before sunrise is prohibited.
- Campers must stay at campsites from sunset until sunrise.
- Shining of lights at wildlife is prohibited.
- Drive only on designated roads.
- Park in designated areas only.
- Obey traffic flow signs.
- Gate card is for emergency use only.
- No bicycles, roller blades, or skateboards allowed on or near the buildings.
- Place all garbage in trash receptacles.
- Clean campsites before departing.
- Fires are permitted only in the fire rings.
- Do not relocate fire rings.
- No alcoholic beverages allowed at the campsites.
- NO FIREARMS. This includes BB guns, pellet guns, bows and arrows, crossbows, and trapping devices as well as firearms.
- Fishing is permitted. Florida fishing laws and regulations apply and are enforced by the Fish and Wildlife Commission.
- Do not cut or clear vegetation.
- No visitors permitted from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. without prior permission.
- The speed limit in the Preserve is 15 mph.
- Turn all gate cards in when departing - give to county personnel or place in box outside the electric gate.
